Credit/Debit Card Payments

 

All our payments are accepted via a third party payment provider, www. paypal.com, and the PayPal terms of use are outlined by PayPal on their site.

Postage, Packing and Delivery

 

All prices are shown exclusive of postage and packaging charges.  Postage and packaging charges will be added at the ‘checkout’ stage.  All packages will be plain with no mention of Elves, Christmas or other grown-up secrets.

 

UK orders will be sent via Royal Mail, second class delivery, for a set price of £3.25.  Proof of postage will be obtained for each and every item.  Please allow 2-5 working days for delivery.

 

European orders will be sent via Royal Mail for a set price of £9.00.  Proof of postage will be obtained for each parcel.  Please allow up to 5 working days for delivery.

 

Rest of World orders will be sent via Royal Mail for a set price of £13.50.  Proof of postage will be obtained for each parcel.  Please allow 7-14 days for delivery.

 

We aim to despatch all orders within two working days.  If there is to be an unexpected delay, we will contact you to let you know.  In the autumn and winter, there can be high demand on any item in a single day, causing stocks to run out.  We make every effort to ensure this does not happen but, should this be the case with your order, we will get back to you right away to advise you of any delay and to let you know when we expect to be able to send your order.  You will, of course, always have the option of a refund of your money if you are unable to wait.

 

Please allow sufficient time for your order to be delivered. Merry Elfmas cannot be held responsible for the time taken for your order to arrive, once it has been posted.  Orders can only be posted to the address associated with your Paypal payment;  please ensure this address is correct on your Paypal account before your order is placed.  Merry Elfmas takes no responsibility for goods lost due to an incorrect or incomplete address.

Circumstances Beyond our Control

 
Neither we, nor any courier service provider that we use shall be liable for any failure to perform, where such failure or delay results from any circumstances outside our reasonable control.  These circumstances are to include, but not be limited to, ill health, any adverse weather conditions such as; snow, flood, extreme winds, fire, explosion, accident, traffic congestion, obstruction of any private or public highway, riot, terrorism, act of God, or from any industrial dispute or strike.

Returns and Refunds

 

Merry Elfmas expects that you will be delighted with your purchase.  But if for some reason you need to exchange your purchase, do let us know within 5 days of receipt.  We will do what we can to help.  We are unable to take returns or offer refunds on personalised goods that have been made to your specific order.

 

 

Any items being returned must be unused and returned to Merry Elfmas, 1 Nene Grove, Didcot, Oxfordshire OX11 7QW with the original undamaged packaging, including labels, within 14 days of purchase. Please notify merryelfmas@gmail.com prior to sending goods back.  Customers are required to meet the postage costs to return any items. This does not affect your legal statutory rights.

 

 

In the unlikely event that your item is faulty or damaged on receipt, please contact us by email within 7 days of receipt.  If you are returning an item to us, as soon as we take receipt of the return, we will issue a replacement or reimburse you for the cost of the item and any postage you have paid to get the item back to us.  This does not affect your legal statutory rights.

Merry Elfmas provides links, including some affiliate links, to other websites; these websites are owned, maintained and operated by third parties.  Therefore, Merry Elfmas cannot be held responsible for any information, subject or availability disclosed by such sites, or orders placed directly with these sites.  We shall not be liable in any way for the loss or damage which you may suffer by using such sites.

Placing your Order

 

To place an order with us, please choose your items and complete our online checkout process.  We will then send you an acknowledgement by email.

 

Please note that your completion of the online checkout process does not constitute our acceptance of your order.  Our acceptance of your order only takes place when we despatch it.  A ‘purchase contract’ between you and Merry Elfmas is therefore made at the point of despatch, rather than at the point of payment. If you have cancelled your order, or if we notify you that we cannot accept your order, then no purchase contract will have been made.

 

We reserve the right to cancel your order at any time and issue a full refund; this does not affect your statutory rights.

Out of Stock Items

 
If something you have ordered is out of stock, we will phone or email you within 24 hours to let you know.  You can then decide if you’re happy to wait if a replacement is available, or if you would like a substitute, or you just want a refund.  If you choose to wait, we will let you know when you can expect delivery and we will send the whole of your order together, when your item becomes available.

Personalised products

 
We always aim to provide a high-quality service, all customer orders we receive are produced on a first come first serve basis, subject to stock availability.  Due to the nature of our personalised service, some orders may be placed on hold due to a verification requirement by you.  All verification requests will be emailed and will require a response before we can continue with your order.  Failure to respond to this or any other communication sent by us may result in your order arriving outside our lead time.  Merry Elfmas cannot be held responsible in such cases, providing we show evidence that we have communicated to the contact information provided by you at checkout.
 
Please double-check your order on screen and your acknowledgement email carefully to check that all the details entered are correct.  We cannot refund items where the personalisation has been mis-spelt due to an error made by you.
 
Changes to your order can only be made if your personalised product order has not yet been processed.  Change requests can be made by contacting us via email at merryelfmas@gmail.com.
